Finn a few days at old and at home.  I just love how him and the dragon are sharing the same smile!

Fix it friday Number 89

This was a really nice capture.  I just love the colors in the chairs.This picture was loaned to us to use for our Fix it friday from I heart faces!  I had some free time so I did a few this morning.

The top photo is my basic edit work flow with

 no actions used except a free one for his skin. The bottom is the original sooc.

In these next 2 I have used actions to enhance the photos.  The bottom was to have a sort of vintage look.  I am not sure I captured a vintage look?

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Last I did a texturte and a black and white just for fun.  I have not been useing textures long and I find them really lots of fun.  I have trouble with black and white conversions and I am never sure if i like it or not.

Memories

I am hoping to re do our living room.  I would really love a collection of prints for our walls as I have nothing on them ATM.  So I have been going over some older photos and hope to get a nice group together. This is my daughter holding my day old son for the first time.

I HEART FACES PHOTO CHALLANGE!

This weeks challange was anything but a face.  This is hard for me as I really like faces and I am not very good with scenic or landscape photos This is one of my favorite pictures of my son.  I know its just his hand but it just represents him so much.  This photo goes great with some others of him busy playing with his chalk!

More textures

The small first photo is sooc and the 2nd is one with some post work.  The photo is not the best but I really wanted to work on the sky. The goal was to give it a vintage look.

I got some new textures this week.  Its the first time I have used them.  I was lucky to have katie and rosa to pose for me!  They did a great job.

Its fix it friday again

So here was the photo donated to us today. We are given a photo and are given permission to "fix" it.

I did a color version.  I cropped it a bit.  I did not like hall the red in the

but I think now her face might be to pastey so I thought i would convert

it to a black and white.  Which I like much better.

 

A afternoon out and about with katie

We have been pretty fortunate here with the weather.  Today the sun was out and it felt and looked like a crisp spring afternoon.  So Katie and I went out for a little one on one time and of course I brought my camera.

Late chirstmas photos

I have been pretty busy this year.  I know its only january but we have seen some big changes here. I have been a bit behind on my photos and blogging about them so I am gonna do some "late posts".

This is one of my favs for the Holiday season.

Every year we have ham and every year Bonnie Blue gets the ham bone.

It keeps her busy for long time and I think it might be her favorite chirstmas treat!

So its Fix it friday and I had a little time this afternoon so I thought I would play along.  The first photo is the orginal dontaed to us to use just for fun(I did not take this photo).  The 2nd photo is my fun editing! 

Robin + baby

During our christmas vacation.  I had the wonderful opportunity to photography a good friend and co worker of my brother.  It was really nice to have someone who was old enough to do what I asked them!

 

 

Little trip around our house

I just thought I would try to get a few shots of finn but....that boy just will not stand still!  I did get a few but if he stands still something has his attention and more times than not it isn't me.

 

 We really like the litte boats on this path behind our house. It can be a bit windy at times but its a nice little walk.
